Our DPH hydraulic submersible
agitator pumps (37.5 to 375kW) have been designed to lift sediments with solids
such as sand, gravel, stones and similar debris into suspension and then
transfer it over considerable distances. The concentration of solids in the
pumped liquid can be up to 70% by weight with a maximum density of 1.8kg/dm3.
This makes the DPH range ideal for a wide range of dredging, mineral extraction
and industrial cleaning type operations.
Servicing and
maintaining good working order is easy. DPH pumps have two wear plates, one of
which is adjustable. This simple adjustment allows long lasting high
performance.
Wear Plates
Manufactured in chrome steel alloy (24 to 28%) offering long service
life.
Temperatures
Maximum medium temperature: 60°C
Acid Resistance
Pumps can operate in media pH 4-9.5
Working Depth
Standard operating depth
is 40m, but 120m depths can be achieved with the use of pressure compensators.
Hydraulic Piston Motors
Adjustable rotation
speed to suit specific site requirements. When mounted on an excavator arm, may
be directly connected to vehicle¡¦s hydraulic power system.
Comparison to electric drive pumps
Our Hydraulic drive pumps are with high
security, more versatile, effective and powerful in
sandy, high viscous fluids, remote areas and so on. An external power pack is
used to drive the hydraulic motors. Dredge Master can offer you a solution to
customize your Hydraulic drive submersible pump.
Advantages of Hydraulic driven pumps:
a) Variable speed control enables variable torque needs.
b) Various torque enables pumping various viscosity slurry.
c) Total weight of the pump is half that of equivalent electrical
driven type.
d) Safe to use with divers - no high power electricity underwater.
e) Can be used in very deep water.
The hydraulic power pack can be electric motor driven or diesel
engine driven. Best option is to use diesel engine driven in order for the
whole setup to be used on construction sites without electricity supply.
By using hydraulic drive pumps, the maximum torque can be applied
through the full speed range of the pump. This is very useful in the
applications such as heavy slurry or highly viscous fluids which would be
impossible to pump with electric motor drive. Otherwise, It could easily burn
out the motors.
Therefore if you are looking for rough operation functionality, such as usage in sand dredging, dam dredging, offshore diving, pump operations or remote sump applications, hydraulic driven submersible pumps would be your best choice.
